Location:  Taiz supports a population of over 400,000 and is situated in the mountains in the south-west of Yemen. At an altitude of 1400m the climate is mild to warm year-round with little humidity. Taiz is approximately a three hour car drive from Aden and a five hour car drive from Sana'a, the capital of Yemen.

One of the strengths of our location in Taiz is that Arabic students will be exposed to Arabic all the time. Unlike many other parts of the Middle East, you will find here that as soon as you step out of your door you will have to start operating in Arabic.

CLI is central, well-known to the local population and easily accessed from all parts of the city, being found on one of the major transportation routes.

Facilities:  A self-contained building, CLI is on an attractive site with a shaded garden and rooftop area. Cosy classrooms are all equipped with multi-media resources and temperature control units. Students have access to computer resources and library for self-study.
